Responsibilities
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end-users via phone, email, and in-person support.
- Incident Management: Log and track all help desk tickets in our ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
- Hardware Setup: Configure and deploy workstations, laptops, and peripherals for new hires and returning employees.
- Software Installation: Install, update, and troubleshoot standard business applications and operating systems.
- User Training: Conduct onboarding sessions to educate staff on best practices for IT security and system usage.
- Support Access: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional IT experience required; internship or academic projects are acceptable.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows 10/11), and network connectivity.
- Soft Skills: Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think critically and logically to troubleshoot technical problems under pressure.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including some evenings or weekends as needed.
