Responsibilities
- Tier 1 & 2 Support: Assist end-users with hardware and software troubleshooting, password resets, and account management via phone, email, and in-person.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on workstations, printers, and network peripherals to ensure optimal system performance.
- Help Desk Management: Log and track incoming support tickets using our ticketing system (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Hardware Deployment: Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of new hardware and software for new hires and office moves.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, and spare parts inventory.
- Documentation: Update technical documentation and run diagnostic reports to identify recurring issues.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in an IT support role, internship, or academic projects involving computer systems.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Soft Skills: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and think critically to find solutions.
