Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and remote assistance for hardware/software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems and peripheral devices
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Document technical procedures and maintain asset management databases
- Collaborate with senior engineers on complex system implementations and upgrades
- Participate in cybersecurity awareness initiatives and basic threat mitigation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- CompTIA A+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Strong understanding of Windows/macOS operating systems and Active Directory
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Excellent problem-solving and customer communication skills
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (ITIL preferred)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional on-site visits
