Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues for internal employees and clients, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Ticket Management: Monitor and manage IT help desk tickets, prioritizing urgent issues and escalating complex problems to senior engineers.
- Hardware Support: Perform routine maintenance, installation, and configuration of workstations, printers, and mobile devices.
- Software Deployment: Support the deployment of software updates, patches, and security configurations across the organization.
- Network Assistance: Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi connectivity and VPN access issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, solutions, and technical documentation in our ticketing system.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred; equivalent technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a significant plus.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in an IT support role, internship, or technical customer service is required.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Office 365. Familiarity with Active Directory concepts is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems creatively and efficiently.
- Soft Skills: A positive attitude, high attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
