In this role, you will work alongside our senior technicians to provide technical support to internal employees and clients. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, working with the latest hardware and software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Monitor network performance and respond to alerts to ensure system uptime.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the security team to implement basic data protection measures.
- Conduct regular hardware inventories and asset management checks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components (RAM, CPU, Storage).
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows 10/11 and macOS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) upon hiring.
