Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and in-person to internal employees.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware peripherals, operating systems, and software applications.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of computer networks, printers, and audio-visual equipment.
- Document all IT issues, resolutions, and asset inventories in the Service Desk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex technical issues and learn best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized server room and workstation environments.
- Conduct user training sessions on new software tools and security protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- CompTIA A+ Certification is a plus but not mandatory for this entry-level role.
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office Suite is expected.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter with a genuine eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
