Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of end-user devices (laptops, printers, mobile devices).
- Perform routine system updates, patch management, and security scans.
- Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and asset inventories.
- Conduct on-site and remote training sessions for staff on new technologies and software applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with operating systems, including Windows and macOS.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-first approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Willingness to obtain relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) within 12 months.
