Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Manage and track IT service requests using ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform routine system updates, patch management, and antivirus scans to maintain network security.
- Collaborate with the senior IT team to identify areas for process improvement and system optimization.
- Conduct user training sessions on new software applications and company security policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic operating systems (Windows/macOS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot common technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required for occasional on-site support).
