Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 support for hardware and software issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Configure and set up new employee workstations, laptops, and peripherals.
- Assist in troubleshooting network connectivity, printer issues, and application errors.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets and devices.
- Document all support tickets and resolutions in our ticketing system (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Collaborate with the security team to ensure compliance and patch management.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows and Mac) and office software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to 40 lbs).
- Willingness to obtain CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification within 6 months.
