Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues via phone and email.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security access within the Active Directory environment.
- Install, patch, and update operating systems and applications to ensure system stability.
- Collaborate with the IT team to maintain a secure and efficient network infrastructure.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Perform basic hardware repairs and assist in the deployment of new workstations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems (10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
- Eagerness to obtain industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.
