Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 Technical Support: Assist end-users with hardware and software troubleshooting, including printers, laptops, and operating systems.
- Network Maintenance: Monitor network performance and assist in maintaining the stability of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- System Administration: Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of servers and workstations.
- Incident Management: Log, track, and resolve technical issues using ticketing systems efficiently and accurately.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to clients, ensuring technical solutions are understood and implemented effectively.
- Documentation: Update technical documentation and standard operating procedures to ensure knowledge is preserved.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree or certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR equivalent work experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, network concepts, and hardware components.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues logically and efficiently.
- Soft Skills: A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus but not required.
