Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols within the Active Directory environment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot email systems and communication tools.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement new technology solutions and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of IT incidents and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems (Windows/macOS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) during employment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
