In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our internal and external clients, providing top-tier technical support and ensuring our technology infrastructure runs smoothly. No prior experience is required—we provide comprehensive training for the right candidates.
Responsibilities
- Tier 1 Help Desk Support: Answer incoming support tickets via phone and email, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- System Administration: Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Network Troubleshooting: Perform basic network connectivity checks and resolve common connectivity problems for end-users.
- Software Installation: Install, update, and patch operating systems and business applications.
- User Training: Educate staff on new software tools and IT best practices.
- Asset Management: Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment and manage asset tags.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows 10/11), and networking concepts.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ certification is a plus but not required for immediate hire.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a customer-service oriented mindset.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical problems logically and patiently.
- Reliability: Punctuality and the ability to work full-time hours.
