Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and remote assistance
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems including Windows OS and productivity suites
- Document all troubleshooting procedures, service requests, and asset inventory in ITSM systems
- Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex incidents and implement preventive solutions
- Assist in cybersecurity awareness initiatives including phishing simulations and access management
- Support office technology deployments including AV equipment, printers, and mobile devices
- Participate in IT projects focused on cloud migration and infrastructure modernization
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA A+ certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Fundamental knowledge of Windows OS, networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS), and system security
- Excellent troubleshooting methodology and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic familiarity with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional on-site visits
