As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the first line of defense for our employees, ensuring our technology infrastructure runs smoothly. You will gain hands-on experience with networking, hardware troubleshooting, and software deployment in a real-world setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 Support: Assist colleagues with hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Ticket Management: Log and track help desk tickets efficiently using our CRM tools.
- Hardware Deployment: Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- System Updates: Support the installation and patching of operating systems and business applications.
- Network Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve connectivity issues to ensure seamless business operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Basics: Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
