Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and remote assistance for hardware/software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and network peripherals
- Document technical issues, solutions, and asset inventory in IT service management systems
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on network administration and security protocols
- Conduct user training on software applications and system best practices
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential technical problems
- Assist with cybersecurity awareness initiatives and data protection measures
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and infrastructure
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional on-site visits
