Responsibilities
- Tier 1 Help Desk Support: Provide exceptional technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve common network connectivity problems, printer malfunctions, and operating system errors.
- Hardware Management: Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
- Software Deployment: Support the installation, updates, and patch management of essential business applications.
- Asset Inventory: Maintain accurate records of IT equipment inventory and assist in the deployment of new hardware to staff.
- User Assistance: Educate users on best practices for IT security and software usage to reduce support tickets.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
