Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues to end-users.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues and access problems.
- Assist in the deployment and management of IT assets and inventory.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and standard operating procedures in the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to ensure uptime.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement new technologies and software updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows 10/11, Linux) and computer architecture.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a logical approach to debugging.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for occasional off-site support.
