Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person for hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity.
- Manage and maintain the IT asset inventory, including the deployment of new devices and software updates.
- Document all support tickets and technical issues in the helpdesk system accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with the senior IT team to implement new IT policies and security protocols.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new workstations and conference room technology.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- No prior professional IT experience required—willingness to learn is key.
- Basic understanding of computer operating systems (Windows) and internet navigation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
