Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Troubleshoot network issues using Wireshark and diagnostic tools
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Document IT processes and create technical documentation for internal teams
- Provide Tier 1/2 technical support to 500+ end-users via ticketing systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and migrations
- Monitor system performance and recommend optimization solutions
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- Strong problem-solving skills with analytical thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
