Responsibilities
- Customer Service Excellence: Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, answering questions regarding bank products and services.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing while adhering to strict compliance and security regulations.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate daily cash drawers, balance the vault, and ensure all currency and coin are counted and verified correctly.
- Product Sales: Cross-sell bank products such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards to meet individual and branch sales goals.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve customer account inquiries and issues efficiently, escalating complex matters to management when necessary.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete all required paperwork, maintain accurate records, and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Experience: No prior banking experience is required; Trainee position includes on-the-job training.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle cash with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and some evenings.
- Character: Must pass a background check and a credit check. Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
