Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior service to meet and exceed branch service goals.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and ATM equipment to assist customers with payments.
- Maintain accurate daily cash balances and reconcile the teller drawer at the end of each shift.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for bank products such as loans, credit cards, and savings accounts.
- Adhere to strict regulatory compliance and bank security policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail with the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory for trainees.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
