Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cashing checks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patrons, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Assist in the opening and closing of new accounts and processing applications for credit cards and consumer loans.
- Maintain strict compliance with banking regulations, security protocols, and internal policies.
- Balance cash drawers daily and reconcile all transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to promote our banking products and services to existing clients.
- Keep the teller line organized and the lobby welcoming for all visitors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Basic math skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check, credit check, and regulatory compliance screening.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
