Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers for customers.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding account balances and services, and resolve issues with a positive attitude.
- Cash Handling: Manage cash drawers with precision, balance daily cash reports, and ensure strict adherence to security policies.
- Product Promotion: Identify sales opportunities and effectively promote our financial products, such as CDs, savings accounts, and credit cards.
- Lobby Operations: Maintain a welcoming lobby environment, assist with daily operational tasks, and ensure compliance with bank policies.
- Training: Complete all required training modules and shadow senior tellers to master banking procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous cash handling or customer service experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse clientele.
- Integrity: A high level of trustworthiness and professionalism is required to handle sensitive financial information.
