About the Role:
In this entry-level position, you will serve as the first point of contact for our clients. You will learn the ropes of cash handling, account services, and financial product sales under the guidance of experienced professionals. Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and resolve issues with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Cash Handling: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Account Maintenance: Assist customers with opening new accounts, updating information, and balancing daily cash drawers.
- Sales & Cross-Selling: Introduce customers to our suite of financial products, including credit cards and savings accounts.
- Compliance: Adhere to all banking regulations, security protocols, and internal policies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the branch manager and team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Problem Solving: Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or escalate complex issues.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in finance or business preferred.
- Experience: Previous customer service or cash-handling experience is a plus but not required for the Trainee role.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Interpersonal: Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Reliability: Must be available to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Background: Must pass a background check and credit check as per banking standards.
- License: Valid driver's license is often required for travel between branches or cash-in-transit duties.
