Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling, check deposits, and withdrawals.
- Build strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and answering inquiries.
- Assist in the sales and cross-selling of bank products and services to meet branch goals.
- Identify and resolve customer account issues while adhering to strict compliance and regulatory standards.
- Maintain the security of the branch environment and safeguard assets.
- Keep the teller line moving smoothly to minimize wait times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or cash handling is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to count cash accurately under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must pass a background check and credit check as per banking regulations.
