Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers with account inquiries and provide exceptional service to build long-term relationships.
- Balance cash drawers and daily transactions to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as debit cards and savings accounts, to meet branch goals.
- Handle cash and check handling in strict accordance with bank security policies.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) terminal and other banking software systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized teller line area for optimal customer flow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory for trainees.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash with high precision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to and from the branch.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
