Your Role
In this entry-level position, you will be the face of OceanState Financial, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and accurate financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Execute Transactions: Process deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with 100% accuracy and speed.
- Customer Service Excellence: Assist clients with account inquiries, product education, and basic financial needs.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate cash drawers and reconcile daily balances efficiently.
- Sales & Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to recommend our suite of digital and traditional banking products.
- Compliance Adherence: Uphold strict regulatory standards, including AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) protocols.
- Problem Solving: Resolve customer issues professionally and escalate complex matters to supervisors when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior banking experience required; we provide paid training for the right candidates.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle cash with extreme precision.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Reliability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Background: Must pass a background check and credit check (where applicable).
