Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling, check cashing, loan payments, and transfers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and resolving inquiries promptly.
- Assist in the daily operations of the branch, including opening and closing procedures, vault management, and ATM restocking.
- Identify and cross-sell appropriate financial products, such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards, to meet customer needs.
- Ensure strict compliance with all banking regulations, security policies, and internal controls.
- Train on and adapt to new banking technologies and software systems.
- Collaborate with the branch team to achieve daily and monthly sales goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory for trainee positions.
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new banking software quickly.
- Must pass a background check and credit check as required by financial regulations.
