Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashing checks, processing deposits, and withdrawals.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving account issues with a friendly demeanor.
- Open new accounts and assist customers in selecting the right financial products to meet their needs.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with bank policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring security protocols are followed at all times.
- Refer customers to appropriate bank specialists for loans, investments, and wealth management services.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework in business or finance is a plus.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform arithmetic calculations with speed and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the schedule.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer operations.
