Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and medical procedures.
- Measure and record patients' vital signs and medical histories.
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and examination rooms.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout their visit.
- Manage patient flow and schedule for weekend appointments.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous medical assisting experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be available to work weekends and occasional holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical setting.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with EHR systems is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
