Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies into core business functions
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for disruptive tech adoption across healthcare, energy, and aerospace sectors
- Produce annual Horizon Report analyzing societal impacts of breakthrough innovations
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align R&D investments with future market opportunities
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems and biotech applications
- Mentor junior futurists and coordinate with university innovation labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic foresight or technology innovation consulting
- Published research on AI ethics or biotechnology disruption
- Proficiency in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Experience securing $5M+ budgets for experimental technology initiatives
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/R preferred)
- Public speaking record at major tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
