Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary foresight initiatives to identify and validate emerging trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks and strategic roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Present executive briefings and stakeholder workshops on future risk/opportunity assessments
- Author white papers and thought leadership content published in industry-leading journals
- Manage a global network of futurists, academic partners, and innovation scouts
- Integrate foresight findings into product development lifecycle and go-to-market strategies
- Oversee development of proprietary foresight metrics and impact evaluation systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy roles
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies certification
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent
- Experience with foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Strong executive presentation skills with Fortune 500 track record
- Portfolio demonstrating impact of foresight work on organizational strategy
