We are looking for a visionary 2D Animator to join our elite creative team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be the architect of our visual narratives, collaborating directly with Art Directors and Producers to deliver high-fidelity animations for web, mobile, and broadcast. You will work in a fast-paced, innovative environment that values creativity and technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2D character animations and motion graphics from concept to final render using industry-standard tools.
- Design and implement fluid motion paths, timing, and spacing to ensure natural and engaging movement.
- Collaborate with the storyboard and design teams to align animation style with project vision and brand guidelines.
- Optimize animation assets for various platforms, ensuring performance and scalability without sacrificing visual fidelity.
- Participate in creative brainstorms and provide constructive feedback to elevate the quality of the overall project.
- Maintain a clean and organized project library, ensuring all assets are easily retrievable for the production team.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in 2D animation or motion graphics design.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
- Strong understanding of animation principles (squash and stretch, anticipation, follow-through, etc.).
- A professional portfolio demonstrating a range of styles and project types.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
