Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Build lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional front-line customer service.
- Learn and assist in the cross-selling of bank products and services to meet branch goals.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and reconcile daily balances.
- Ensure the teller line operates smoothly and assist in training new tellers.
- Identify and escalate complex customer issues to the branch manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior banking or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory for the Trainee role.
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash with high accuracy and integrity.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn bank software systems quickly.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and a credit check.
