Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive banking experience.
- Process routine financial transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Open new accounts and explain product features to customers to help them meet their financial goals.
- Assist in maintaining the accuracy of the teller drawer and balancing daily cash settlements.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote bank products to existing and prospective clients.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Adhere to all banking regulations, compliance policies, and security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Previous customer service or cash handling experience is a plus but not mandatory for this trainee role.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform accurate calculations quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and operate standard office equipment.
- Must be able to pass a background check and credit check as per banking standards.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
