Responsibilities
- Process daily cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing with precision and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues in a professional manner.
- Open new checking and savings accounts, ensuring all regulatory compliance and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures are strictly followed.
- Assist in daily cash balancing and audit procedures to ensure the accuracy of branch cash drawers.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as credit cards, insurance, and loans, to meet branch sales targets.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, wires, and overnight deposits securely.
- Build long-term relationships with customers by understanding their financial needs and offering tailored solutions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous customer service or retail experience is preferred but not mandatory for the trainee program.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in mathematical computations and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
- Must pass a background check and credit check as required by federal banking regulations.
- Reliable transportation is required.
