Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and addressing their banking needs efficiently.
- Process daily transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers with 100% accuracy.
- Handle cash and non-cash transactions while strictly adhering to federal regulations and internal security protocols.
- Assist in the cross-selling of bank products such as credit cards, mortgages, and insurance to meet branch goals.
- Resolve customer inquiries and troubleshoot account issues using sound judgment and available resources.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area, ensuring all paperwork and financial records are current and secure.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth branch operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous customer service or cash handling experience is preferred but not mandatory for this Trainee position.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform mental arithmetic quickly and accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must pass a background check and comply with all regulatory requirements.
