As a Bank Teller Trainee, you will be the first point of contact for our clients. You will learn the fundamentals of banking operations while assisting our experienced staff in maintaining accurate records and providing top-tier service in the heart of El Paso.

Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash, checks, and electronic deposits for customers while maintaining strict adherence to security protocols.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding account balances and services, and resolve issues with patience and professionalism.
- Trainee Duties: Shadow senior tellers to learn branch operations, assist with daily cash balancing, and support the branch manager with operational tasks.
- Product Knowledge: Learn and explain the bank's products and services, including savings accounts, loans, and credit cards to potential clients.
- Security & Compliance: Adhere to all banking regulations, identify verification procedures, and safeguard bank assets and customer information.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, retail, or cash handling is highly desirable (training available for qualified candidates).
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and the ability to handle large sums of cash with 100% accuracy.
- Character: Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on integrity, reliability, and professionalism.
- Availability: Must be available to work part-time hours, including some weekends and holidays.
