Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashing checks, processing deposits, and withdrawals.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior customer service by answering questions and resolving account inquiries.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet branch sales goals.
- Monitor vault cash levels and ensure all cash drawers are balanced at the end of the shift.
- Identify and escalate security alerts or suspicious activities to branch management immediately.
- Assist with opening new accounts and maintaining accurate customer records in our core banking system.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the lobby and teller line.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree in finance or business preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience is a plus but not required for Trainee applicants.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Windows operating systems.
- Strong mathematical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends and varying shifts as required by branch needs.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
