Responsibilities
- Complete 200+ hours of paid clinical training in patient care procedures
- Master electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical documentation
- Assist physicians with examinations under direct supervision
- Practice phlebotomy and specimen collection techniques
- Learn administrative tasks including scheduling and insurance billing
- Participate in weekly skills assessments and competency evaluations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a clinical rotation setting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills (25+ WPM preferred)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25+ pounds
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Valid Texas ID and reliable transportation
- Commitment to complete the full 12-week training program
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain during training
