Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory and cloud platforms.
- Monitor system performance and alerts, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff promptly.
- Conduct regular software updates, patch management, and security audits.
- Document technical procedures and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for the support team.
- Collaborate with the network team to ensure seamless connectivity across all office locations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer literacy.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (LAN, WAN, IP addressing) and hardware components.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with non-technical users effectively.
- Willingness to obtain relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) within the first year of employment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
