Your Mission
Provide top-tier technical assistance to internal staff, manage hardware inventory, and assist in maintaining our secure network infrastructure. You will work closely with senior engineers to learn best practices in IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Hardware & Software: Diagnose and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity.
- Ticket Management: Log, track, and manage IT support tickets using our Service Desk software (Zendesk/Jira).
- System Maintenance: Perform routine system updates, patch management, and asset tagging.
- User Support: Provide friendly, patient, and clear technical guidance to non-technical users.
- Hardware Deployment: Assist in the setup and configuration of new workstations for incoming employees.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations and troubleshooting steps.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR equivalent work experience.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems. Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a patient demeanor when explaining complex concepts.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to work independently.
- Availability: Ability to work on-site in Baltimore, MD.
