Responsibilities
- Provide tier-1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Manage and maintain IT inventory, including laptops, printers, and peripherals, ensuring accurate asset tracking.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new workstations and devices.
- Monitor ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management) to prioritize and resolve user requests promptly.
- Collaborate with the network team to troubleshoot connectivity issues and ensure network stability.
- Conduct routine IT health checks and system backups to prevent downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components and operating systems (Windows).
- Familiarity with networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Willingness to obtain industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) within 12 months.
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site client visits.
