Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop/laptop hardware, software, and peripherals
- Manage Active Directory accounts, permissions, and access control systems
- Assist with network monitoring, basic firewall administration, and security protocols
- Create and maintain documentation for IT processes and knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on system upgrades and infrastructure projects
- Participate in IT asset management lifecycle activities
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with hardware/software diagnostic methodologies
- Customer service mindset with ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple support requests simultaneously
- Basic familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and data protection protocols
