The Role:
In this entry-level position, you will act as the first point of contact for our clients, providing technical support and ensuring their technology needs are met efficiently. You will work alongside senior engineers to resolve issues, manage hardware, and assist in network maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote desktop.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS) and peripherals.
- Manage and update antivirus software and security patches for company devices.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware, software, and mobile devices.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and workflows in the Help Desk ticketing system.
- Perform routine hardware maintenance and inventory management.
- Collaborate with the network team to diagnose and resolve local area network (LAN) connectivity issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of Linux or macOS.
- Understanding of computer networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with non-technical staff.
- Willingness to obtain professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+).
