Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Configure and set up new workstations for employees, ensuring all necessary drivers and software are installed correctly.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory.
- Document all technical issues, solutions, and interactions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to identify recurring issues and implement preventative measures.
- Assist in the maintenance of office hardware and peripherals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and basic knowledge of Linux or macOS is required.
- Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues calmly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) during employment.
