Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Assist in the setup of new employee workstations and network access.
- Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions in the Help Desk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new software updates and security patches.
- Conduct regular system checks to ensure network stability and security.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components and operating systems (Windows/macOS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evening or weekend shifts.
