Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 help desk support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware and software issues.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, printers, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve user access problems efficiently.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and user interactions in our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the IT team to perform regular system backups and software updates.
- Conduct basic training sessions for end-users on new software tools and security protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels of IT assets and report shortages to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field is a plus).
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components (CPU, RAM, Hard Drives) and operating systems (Windows/macOS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to diagnosing technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Current enrollment in an IT certification program (CompTIA A+, Network+) is highly preferred.
