Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Hardware & Software: Diagnose and resolve technical issues for employees, including printers, laptops, and operating systems.
- Network Support: Assist in maintaining the local area network (LAN) and ensuring connectivity for all departments.
- System Administration: Monitor server performance and perform routine system updates and backups.
- Help Desk Support: Provide excellent customer service to internal staff, logging tickets and resolving issues efficiently.
- Asset Management: Track hardware inventory and assist in the deployment of new workstations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of PC architecture, Windows operating systems, and networking concepts.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues logically.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time, including some flexibility for after-hours support if needed.
